Accessory Dwelling Unit in Portland, Oregon

This job was interesting as the customer had to juggle the sale of one home, refinance another, move the aging parent from the house into this new ADU that we built – all while maintaining a place for each to sleep.

You’ll notice an L-shaped kitchen – this isn’t a normal layout.

Each layout has pros and con’s and the con on this one is you lose the place to set up a kitchen table.  The pro is that we met the client’s needs for their particular build.

Can’t tell by any of the pictures but the homeowner asked for all CDX plywood throughout the whole build – this one is solid for sure!
