Overview
We are hiring a Permit Specialist! Our in-house permit team is pertinent to moving a project through our process. Without a permit, a house can’t be built! It is the role of a Permit Specialist to dive into the permit process and get results!
Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
  • General computer knowledge
  • Understanding of GIS mapping
  • CAD and Revit knowledge
  • Site plan creation
  • Researching municipal code, focusing on Jurisdiction and Zoning Regulations
  • Creating Job Packets
  • Applying for Permits within OR/WA
  • Completing Tasks related to Issuance, Approval, Reporting, and Closing of Permit Packets
  • Customer and Vendor Relations
Qualifications
Candidates should have some experience in researching, understanding zoning regulations, site plan mapping, and customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, has a drive for project completion, and can work well on their own with little oversight.

Education and Certifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Working Conditions
This is an in-office position but will require some driving to jurisdictions offices or project site visits as needed.
Schedule
Work hours typically include 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8am – 4:30pm.
