From start to finish, we are here to make the home buying process as simple and stress free as possible, which includes our payment process.
The payment timeline is set as six easy-to-follow payments throughout your project. Whether you are funding your project through a loan or cash, every project follows the same payment structure. Each of the 3 phases has a deposit and closeout payment.
You are now in Phase 1 – Permitting. The first payment happens at the agreement signing and is approximately $2,500k – $5k. This payment does two things:
This is the Permit Closeout which covers the cost of the actual permits themselves. Costs vary based on project and jurisdiction requirements and are estimated in your agreement. The timing of this payment is dependent on how long your jurisdiction takes for the permit process. Payment 1 does not apply towards this payment.
After permits have been issued, we can move into Phase 2 – Home Construction. Before production we schedule a pre-production meeting about one month before your estimated production date. This meeting takes about 2 – 3 hours and finalizes all the details of your home, including the fun stuff like paint colors and countertops! Payment 3 is a 25% Production Deposit and is calculated based on house choices from your original agreement.
Your home takes about 3 weeks to complete on our production line. When your home is finished, the remaining Production Closeout payment is due, and Phase 2 is now complete!
You are now in Phase 3 – Site work and Delivery! This is a 50% deposit of estimated site work from your agreement. Depending on the timing of our Field Crew, breaking ground could happen after home completion or before.
Your house has been delivered, set, connected, and tested. The remaining field service payment is now due so we can hand you the keys.
Congratulations! You now own a new Wolf Industries home!
