When a mother decided a downsize her living arrangements and spend more time with her kids, she started researching tiny homes and the associated lifestyle. Nearly a year later and she’s parking her new Model C, a 400 square foot 1-bedroom 1-bathroom modular home from Wolf Industries. The customer opted to have the home trailer-mounted to keep the flexibility of staying at either her daughter or son’s properties.
Currently parked at her daughters 5000 square foot lot in the Woodstock Portland area, her home garners the attention of many neighbors as an affordable housing solution that doesn’t cut corners or sacrifice creature comforts. Because the home is still on wheels, it did not need to apply for permits through the City of Portland.
Beyond the construction of the unit itself, Wolf also completed the sitework for a electric / sewage drop, allowing her to easily connect to utilities when visiting. The home was even featured in a modular tiny home on wheels video on YouTube.
