Overview

The Field Service CDL Driver role offers a blend of transportation and hands-on field service duties. While driving is essential, it comprises only a few days a week, with most time spent supporting on-site equipment setup, maintenance, and operations. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety, combining driving responsibilities with dynamic fieldwork.
 

Responsibilities

The role includes transporting equipment, tools, and materials to job sites safely and efficiently a few times a week. On-site duties involve assisting with equipment setup, performing minor repairs, and supporting maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operations. Additional responsibilities include routine vehicle and equipment inspections, adhering to DOT and OSHA safety regulations, and maintaining detailed records of activities. As a professional representative of the company, the driver will provide excellent customer service and collaborate with dispatch and field teams to address delivery and on-site challenges promptly.
 

Qualifications

Candidates must have at least one year of experience as a CDL driver, preferably in construction or a related field, and hold a valid Class A or B CDL license with a clean driving record. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, DOT regulations, and safe loading practices is essential. Strong organizational and communication skills, a commitment to safety, and the physical stamina to work in demanding environments are required.
 

Education and Certifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
 

Working Conditions

This position involves driving to job sites across Oregon and Washington, working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and occasional overnight travel or weekend work to meet deadlines.
 

Schedule

Work includes 8 to 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with on-call and overtime availability.
