**Overview**

As a Construction Field Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will be the primary point of contact between management, construction teams and the customer, coordinating resources, and communicating project progress. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, customer relations, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. **Team Leadership** Lead and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and other personnel on-site, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure optimal performance and adherence to project requirements.

2. **Project Coordination** Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to plan, schedule, and execute construction activities according to project specifications and deadlines.

3. **Safety Compliance** Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel. Conduct regular safety inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

4. **Quality Assurance** Monitor work progress and quality to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Conduct inspections and quality control checks to verify workmanship and materials meet project requirements.

5. **Resource Management** Manage and allocate resources efficiently, including labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors, to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.

6. **Problem Solving** Identify and resolve construction-related issues, conflicts, and delays promptly to keep projects on track and within budget. Develop and implement solutions to overcome challenges and obstacles as they arise.

7. **Communication** Serve as the primary point of contact for on-site communication, relaying information between management, construction teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and potential risks.

8. **Documentation** Maintain accurate and detailed records of all on-site activities, including daily reports, progress photos, change orders, and other project documentation. Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and document control procedures.

**Qualifications**

1. **Experience** Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role, preferably as a foreman or supervisor.

2. **Technical Skills** Proficient knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials. Familiarity with blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Ability to use construction equipment and tools safely. Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central preferred but not required, as we will train.

3. **Leadership Abilities** Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate, mentor, and manage diverse teams effectively.

4. **Problem-Solving Skills** Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive and resourceful approach to resolving issues and conflicts.

5. **Safety Consciousness:** Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA regulations. Certification in OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Training preferred.

6. **Organizational Skills:** Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

7. **Computer Literacy** Proficiency in using construction management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools for project documentation and communication.

8. **Physical Stamina** Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting heavy objects.

**Education/Certifications**

– High school diploma or equivalent required.

– Additional certification or training in construction management, carpentry, or related fields preferred, but not required.

**Working Conditions**

– This position is primarily based on construction sites, involving exposure to various weather conditions, noise, dust, and potential hazards.

Will require 50% travel to multiple job sites throughout OR/WA and occasional evening or weekend work to meet project deadlines.
