Legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This policy describes how Wolf Industries (“Wolf,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you visit wolfind.com or submit a request through our site.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you request a free property evaluation or contact us, we may collect:
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Property address (street, city, state, postal code)
- Model interest, financing needs, and project notes you choose to share
- Your consent to be contacted about your project
Submissions are stored in our customer and project management system so our team can respond. If submission fails, you may use the pre-filled email fallback shown on the form.
We also send a copy of each property evaluation request, contact request, checklist request, saved accessory dwelling unit (ADU) plan, and job application to Microsoft Power Automate. It adds sales requests to our Microsoft Dynamics 365 records, sends job applications to our hiring team, and sends the confirmation and follow-up emails. Microsoft handles that data for us under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Address suggestions. When you type in the street address field on our property evaluation form (on the homepage, the contact page, and the free property evaluation page), the text is sent through our server to Photon to find matching addresses using OpenStreetMap data. If you type a full street address and Photon doesn’t have it, our server also looks it up in our own address system, which checks U.S. Census Bureau address records and OpenStreetMap data. Our server passes along your IP address for rate limiting, and the lookup is recorded in our server logs like other web requests. Address searches don’t create a customer record. You can continue with a manually entered address if no suggestion matches. Selecting a suggestion does not request a property review or confirm that a home can be built there.
Booking an appointment. The Book a visit page embeds Microsoft Bookings so you can pick a time on the Wolf Industries calendar. Microsoft receives the information you enter in that scheduler. We do not sell this information.
Cookies
Attribution cookie (wf_attrib)
We record your initial landing page and referrer and, if present, campaign parameters (for example utm_source, utm_medium,
gclid, gad_source, gbraid, or fbclid), we store a first-touch copy in a browser cookie named
wf_attrib for up to 90 days on wolfind.com.
- Purpose: credit leads to the campaign that originally brought you here.
- Contents: UTM/ad click parameters, landing page path, and referrer (trimmed).
- When set: on your first visit without an existing record; later campaigns do not overwrite that first-touch record.
- SameSite: Lax. On HTTPS production, the cookie is marked Secure.
You can clear this cookie anytime through your browser settings.
Analytics
Analytics and advertising
On wolfind.com, Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics, Google Ads, the Meta (Facebook) pixel, and Microsoft Advertising (Bing UET). These tags record the pages you view, clicks on phone numbers and buttons, how far you get in our forms (the step, not what you type), which Ask Wolf topic you open, the options you add to an Options Book list, the service you pick on the booking page, and when a form is sent. We use that to see which pages and ads bring in inquiries. They load on wolfind.com for each visit. They don’t run on our preview site or on the private link to a saved ADU plan.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how people use the site: where they click, how far they scroll, and where a page seems broken. Clarity turns those visits into heatmaps and session recordings. Clarity never records what you type into a form field. We also hide the text of the contact, checklist, and ADU planner forms and your Ask Wolf conversation from it. Clarity doesn’t run on job application pages or on the private link to a saved ADU plan.
Google, Microsoft, and Meta set their own cookies in your browser, such as _ga
(Google Analytics), _gcl_au and _gcl_aw (Google Ads),
_uetsid, _uetvid, and MUID (Microsoft Advertising), and
_fbp (Meta). Clarity sets cookies on wolfind.com that recognize your browser when you
come back (for up to a year) and tie the pages of one visit together. They tie your visits together
and tell us when someone who clicked one of our ads later contacts us. Each company may also use
them under its own privacy policy to measure and show ads on other sites and apps. Google signals
is turned on in our Google Analytics account, so Google can combine this activity with data from
Google accounts that have ad personalization on. Microsoft handles Clarity data under the
Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Your privacy choices in the footer turns analytics and advertising off in this browser,
or turns them back on. We store that as wf_privacy_choices. After you opt out, the next
page does not load Google Tag Manager or Microsoft Clarity.
We don’t send your name, email, phone, or address to these tags. Enhanced conversions and automatic collection of contact details stay off.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control (navigator.globalPrivacyControl), the tags stay off while that signal is on.
You can also limit this in Google’s ad settings, with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, in Microsoft’s ad settings, in Meta’s ad preferences, and on the industry opt-out pages at optout.aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu. Your browser’s privacy settings or an ad blocker will also stop these tags.
How we use data
Why we process it
- Respond to evaluation and contact requests
- Plan and quote modular home / ADU projects
- Measure marketing effectiveness and improve the website
- Maintain security and prevent spam (honeypot checks and Cloudflare Turnstile on public forms)
We do not sell your personal information.
Retention & sharing
How long we keep it
Lead and project records are retained in Wolfpack OS and Microsoft Dynamics 365 according to our business and legal needs.
The wf_attrib cookie expires automatically after 90 days. Analytics data retention follows
our Google Analytics property settings, and Clarity data follows Microsoft Clarity’s retention policy.
We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website and CRM (for example hosting, analytics, and email). We may also disclose information when required by law.
