Detached ADU
Beautiful ADU in a Portland-Area Backyard
A compact one-bedroom backyard ADU designed so an owner could stay close to family while keeping a private, low-maintenance home.
What mattered on this project
The customer wanted to stay close to a sibling while keeping the dignity and privacy of a separate home. A compact Wolf ADU gave her a modern, manageable living space without moving far from family support.
The finish package focused on practical comfort: a one-bedroom plan, a barn door, grab bar, hot tub disconnect, and other details that make a small home easier to live in every day.
Project highlights
- Created an independent home near a sibling.
- Kept the footprint small enough for a backyard placement.
